Description: Chinese Asian YIXING Clay Tea Set with Maker Marks in Original Red Box. Elegant Tea Pot and 4 small cups. Pretty design, dark clay with white geometric lines design and Blue Brown clay Bamboo leaves. The top of the Tea Pot is very unique, using a Tan Clay color in the shape of a lily pad or flower. The spout is a reptile of some sort, snake or lizard? With a baby and perhaps eggs as part of the design. This Tea Pot is more tall than squatty. The Original box is included but it's not in perfect shape. The red lining has come apart from the wall of the box (inside) in places. And the outside has some shelf wear and fading of the red fabric. Some of the red fabric is not glued down all the way around the box. I hand carried this set home directly from China.
