This Brass insignia is BRAND NEW - never used on a hat or cap, so the edges are crisp and not falling apart. Allot of reproductions and thick and hard to work with. Very, very Nice Civil War Union Army Infantry "Bugle" Hat insignia adopted in 1858. New and never used or worn - everything is clean and as you can see, these are not your run-of-the-mill re-enacting insignia. A great set for living history, films and re-enacting, and a steal at this price and great looking. Compare elsewhere around ebay for more than $30 + for the same looking item.
