Description: 2 Handmade ceramic beverage holders, by potter Clayton Paul Cormier, Vermont potter, these are from the 1980's and were examples of his studio work while at College. He moved to Japan where he started an English academy and build a famous house and studio/store. Unwell, he returned to the US to Vermont for medical care and still resides there. Was doing fabulous porcelain hand builds last I heard. I knew him personally years ago but we lost touch. He now is an agent for Southey's in VT. I'm Moving to CA and slowly selling off my collections. The rest of this collection was sold to a Japanese collector who met him on the street in Soho. No chips or cracks. I have mostly not used them and kept them boxed. They do retain heat/cold.
