Manufacturer: CMK Title: TSR2 armament set for Airfix kit Ref: 7135 Scale: 1/72 Description: This detail set contains resin parts for the bomb bay and armament of a BAC TSR.2 aircraft, which are designed for the 1/72 Airfix kit. The resin parts includes the bomb bay interior, two types of bomb bay interiors i.e. for both conventional and nuclear weapons, bomb bay doors, hydraulic struts etc Also includes a detailed double side black and white instruction guide. For those not familiar with resin aftermarket parts, they are almost invariably packaged and sold with the parts attached to their casting block - see image (in layman’s terms, a large sprue gate) which will need to be carefully removed. Resin aftermarket parts normally offer far better detail and are more often than not a more accurate representation of the kit part they are to replace. This set is a great introduction to resin parts and kit conversions as the set is a straight swap for the original kit item, albeit some careful surgery will be required to remove the kit items before inserting the resin version. However, I stipulate that the contents are PRINTED PAPER, given decals are printed onto decal paper, which, as far as I am aware is still zero rated for VAT in all EU countries.
