Description: Very unique metal shaper is the MYFORD of metal shapers as it cuts X and Y in independent elliptical paths with auto feed. This shaper was designed to make original metal patterns for eyeglass lens grinders back in the 1950's. It is pretty amazing to watch as it cuts side to side elliptical path based on the pattern that the cam roller follows and also cuts an up down elliptical path based on the other cam follower blank. Auto feed mechanism indexes cutter forward. Operates off 120VAC. We have a few patterns for it, but custom patterns would be easy to make as long as edges are curved. Very well built machine in good shape. This machine is heavy, estimate 250 pounds crated, so local pickup from Beautiful Boise, Idaho in best.
