By using a white or neutral undercoat colour you will enhance the pigments natural colour and lustre. Using a dark opaque undercoat you will bring out deeper richer tones from the pigment. Colourshift Pearls give a distinctive pearlescent effect showing 2 different colours based on the angle of viewing Our photos show examples of the pigment used over both black and white undercoats to show how versatile they are Colourshift Pearl Pigments are made from Mica flakes with light absorbing coatings such as Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxide giving the vibrant colour variations.
