Simply place the head of the compound tube into the bucket of compound and pull the plunger handle out. This method will suck the mud out of the bucket and fill the tube. All major brands of attachments will work with this tube. The anodized aluminum main tube is very strong and will not break like some of the other brands that make them out of plastic.
