APPLICATION: The perfect lock for where multiple individuals / employees / house-sitters / landscapers need access to an area, fence, gate, valve, recreational vehicle, self-storage area, etc. The lock's combination can be quickly and easily changed to accommodate employee turnover, etc. (and no need to worry about keys being duplicated or not returned). BODY COMPOSITION: Stainless steel. DIMENSIONS: The lock body measures 2.75" across (i.e. radius), by 0.97" thick. The hardened shackle measures 0.36" thick (over ¼"). This would be considered a 70-millimeter padlock. NUMBER OF DIGITS꞉ Four. COMBINATION: Factory default is "0000." The user can easily change the combination at any time (the lock is unlocked and open). Combination changing instructions are included with each lock (a copy of those instructions are also included in this listing's photographs). NOTE: Just like a key lock, this lock may need to be defrosted in northern states during the winter months. HOW TO OPEN / UNLOCK: Carefully rotate each dial so that the correct digit lines up; then slide the thumb release to the left. To re-lock the disc lock, push the thumb release to the right then scramble the dials. CONDENSATION DRAIN HOLE?: Absolutely! This lock actually has three holes in the back of it: A drain hole at the bottom of the lock (to allow moisture to drip out) and two lubrication holes (should the lock's bolt ever require lubrication / graphite).
