Description: Up for sale is a vintage completed, hand crafted and mounted needlepoint from the JCA Elsa Williams Heritage Collection. The title is: QUIET HOMES and the kit number was 20213. The fabric is stretched and mounted on to some poster board. It has a brown mat and there is a tab at the top which indicates it could be slid on to a dowel to hang or you can frame it. The size is 15 x 17. the mat has some marks on it and might need to be replaced. On the back there is a label from the company indicating that this was an Elsa Williams Original Model. The model itself was completed in Maderia Portugal and it was completed in Feb. of 1980. It has been in storage all these years. Have not found this particular kit anywhere on the internet and since the company is no longer making these kits, finding this in the future is pretty slim. What makes this so unique is that it was the initial hand crafted model for the kit.Here is the verse: From quiet homes and first beginning out to the undiscovered ends, there’s nothing worth the wear of winning but laughter and the love of friends.
