Description: Up for sale is a completed, hand crafted and matted cross stitch from the Windows Collection of Johnson Creative Arts (JCA). It features a group of bird houses. The size is 9x12 and was designed by Nancy Bombard. It is viewed from the otherside of a picket fence Very differnet type of mat. The matted size is 9 x 12. The cross stitch is fastened to plywood and is ready to frame. You can always remove the mat and use a traditional mat if you do not care for the current mat. Included in the listing is a picture of a kit which is shown for reference as this does not come with a kit. It is was a model to a cross stitch stitch kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. It was covered in plastic when displayed to protect the picture and still is. I was able to acquire quite a few of them; some were just matted and others framed. This cross stitch picture has plastic covering in which I did not remove to take the picture. Please check my other listing for other completed needlepoint and cross stitch pictures. I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website: "Due to the death of our owner, Alan S. Getz, JCA, Inc. has ceased operations indefinitely. We would like to thank our loyal customers who have supported JCA for over 50 years. JCA manufactures premium needlecraft products and distributes fine knitting yarns.
