Description: Up for sale is a completed, handcrafted and mounted cross stich picture. It is from the JCA Needle Treasures Collection. The kit number is: #05616. The title was: CURIOUS KITTEN. It is just charming and shows a kitten sitting by the window looking out into the world with a lovely grouping of flowers in the front. It measures matted 13 x 16 and has a lovely white mat with a red accent which really makes the colors of the flowers pop. On the back there is a label from the company JCA Inc. which indicates the kit number and title and lists the wholesale price to stores as $7.25 and suggested retail price of $14.50 and it indicates that the model is not available for sale. Also included in the listing is a picture of a kit that I found for sale on the internet which is shown for reference only as this embroidery does not come with a kit. . The information on the kit reads: Simplicity Counted Cross Stitch Kit: Manufactured and distributed by JCA, Inc under the license of Simplicity Pattern Co. Curious Kitten #05616 Adapted from a design by Red Farm Studio What has this little kitten's curiosity as he or she looks out the window. Only your imagination can tell you. What a wonderful kit to stitch. The design size is approximatley 9" x 12" (23cm x 30cm) at 14 count. 14 count aida Pre-sorted 6-stranded cotton thread The picture was a model to a needpoint kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. It was covered in plastic when displayed to protect the picture and still is. I was able to acquire quite a few of the completed embroidery produced by this company. See my other listings. I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website: "Due to the death of our owner, Alan S.
