A brand new matched USB WiFi adapter is included for occasions when a wired network is unavailable. The battery is new. It's a generic 'camcorder' type and replacements are readily available on-line from $20 if you want to stock some spares. Note that the internal web server (if you want to access the config screens remotely over the network) is based on Flash technology so you will probably need to use an older browser to access it as current versions do not support that code.
