Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a set of connector housings and crimp connectors for the electric power steering control module main power and data wiring for the Toyota Prius (2004-2009) and Yaris (2006-2011) direct electric power steering system. These fit the steering module with the white connector plate as shown in the pictures. These are OEM-quality connectors sourced from one of the largest OEM suppliers. All our products are assembled by hand in the United States. You will get the two data connectors with eight terminals as shown in the pictures. The OEM installation uses eight wires total on the 12-position and 6-position connectors. The data connectors are designed for 0.3 mm2 to 0.5 mm2 wire roughly equivalent to 22 AWG to 20 AWG. This kit also includes the main power wiring connector that supplies power and ground to the module (not between the module and motor). The two main power terminals included are the same terminals used in the OEM installation and will accommodate 8 AWG wire. I also have smaller power connectors for to 11 AWG to 9 AWG. The OEM wire is 8 AWG, but if you need the smaller terminals, just message me when you check out. The Prius and Yaris direct electric power steering system is a popular swap part for the performance minded car enthusiast. With this connector set you aren't limited to cutting up and splicing junkyard wire looms. This kit will allow you to build a custom wire loom with no wire splices on the power supply or data connectors. The main power connector and 12-position connectors in this kit will also fit the later 2010-2015 steering module with the black connector plate. The 8-position connector will not fit as shipped. The locking tab can be trimmed (thinner) to physically fit the module, but the tab will not latch into the module unless you bend the locking tab up slightly. The later model 8-position connector is still a proprietary part and not available to the aftermarket.
