But combining two extension with one Y splitter is tested to work well. This cable is custom made to work perfectly with z-5500 control pods. The wiring is DIFFERENT from a VGA cable (A VGA cable WILL NOT work on a z-5500 control pod and will fry your control pod, I tried it at the expense of my own control pod). As what it says on the little red tag Logitech placed on the control pod cable, PLEASE DO NOT try a VGA cable on your control pod! This cable is made with top quality cables with double shields to prevent EMI/RFI to ensure best sound quality.
