Description: Copeland "Late" Spode May Reg. No. 204192 Fruit and Flowers Saucer Plate 7 1/8". I believe this is a saucer for a cup because of the 3 1/8" center ring. It is both transfer ware & hand painted. The patent is originally called "Fruit and Flowers" from 1826, and this is renamed "MAY" on 14th December, 1892 in the British patent office, and was very popular patent from the 1800's. The registration No. is 204192. The main base color is an orangish brown. Green, Blue & yellow are painted in individually, plate by plate. There is also one single violet flower. The rim is braided. Crafted in England. Stand not included, just for photos. Thanks for looking! B7
