Description: This RARE 3D embossed handle detail, scalloped edging is from the Copeland brand. Usually associated with Spode but not marked Spode as I believe it was an in-bewteen few years before fully combined with Spode The plate features a mandarin pagoda pattern and is in a vintage style from the Georgian era. The plate is 10-1/8 inches in diameter and is perfect for serving during any occasion. The backstamp is Impressed with Copeland B. Only. The plate is not handmade and was manufactured in the United Kingdom between 1800-1849. So so many pairings/history between Copleand/Spode families. Multiple generations...
