Description: The Lotus Elan in metallic blue having a period 1960s Esso advertising slogan to the boot lid;exclaiming “I’ve got a Tiger in my Tank”.As can be seen from the photographs the metalic paint is generally excellent but incorrect decals have been applied to the bonnet (these may possibly be removed with care ? ) The glazing is all intact with an excellent windscreen and sliding side windows . The left side window has a feint surface mark .The interior has tipping seats and is complete with driver .The bonnet opens to reveal superb engine detail.The wheels and suspension are all good .The tyres have age hardened .The model is accompanied by its original box with all flaps intact . One flap has an old price mark and some old tape marks .There is only modest wear other than as mentioned .A superb original ensemble .
