This IS for a John Deere tractor!This heavy duty lockout valve is made in the USA and is rated for 3500 PSI hydraulic service. It has a forged brass body and is a pintle style valve. It has a flow rating greater than the tractor's hydraulic pump and therefore will not be a restriction like a needle valve. This is the correct valve for 316 (ONAN) 318 322 330 332 John Deere Garden Tractors. This is a kit and full color instructions can be downloaded at link below. This kit provides fluid shutoff to the rear lift hydraulic cylinder. This is necessary if another cylinder shares the same circuit on the control valve. It is common to use this valve on tractors primarily using the two front hydraulic circuits or tractors with rear auxiliary hydraulic kit. This valve is fully compatible with the OEM rear PTO kit and lift kits. All parts needed for installation are included. The positive lockout kit hydraulically speaking, moves the lockout valve to the opposite side of the cylinder and therefore holds fluid in the up side of the cylinder.
