COUNTRY ARTISTS HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER FILLED SMALL SHORT-EARED OWL FIGURINE

Description: On offer is a small figurine from Country Artists. Beautifully cast with a hallmarked sterling silver outer and a resin filling, this is the Short-Eared Owl. Based on the original resin model CA370 sculpted by Steve Langford, and copyright dated to 1989. Faithfully reproduced with a great deal of fine detail. Markings: full Birmingham Assay Office hallmark with a date letter for 1992 above the word FILLED. Also marked with the CA Country Artists trademark and with the copyright date 1989, along with the modeller's name (Steve) Langford. Approximate size: 81mm (3.2") in height. The penny is shown for size comparison. Condition: the figurine is in excellent pre-owned condition with just a little wear. There a small amount of gold toned tarnish to the base and lower wing. There is no box.
