Description: I got this new for my birthday back in the early 2000's and it's only shows the smallest signs of wear. I only read them all once. The worst of it being the corners of a couple spines are lightly torn, and a little bit of denting on the covers. This box set of the two different Cowboy Bebop manga series combined. Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star - Volume 1 - Volume 2 Cowboy Bebop - Volume 1 - Volume 2 - Volume 3 Shooting Star began before the anime started airing in 1997 but it is not what the show is based on. Cowboy Bebop was intended to be just an anime project, so these stories are seen as alternate interpretations, and do not directly follow or inspire the show's storyline. The second series just titled Cowboy Bebop had volumes releasing during and I think just after the anime around 1998. Once again having it's own storyline. The whole box set was put together for North America in 2000 by Tokyopop.
