Cuban Spanish Crown Star Brass Lapel Brooch Pin Medallia Cubana Pendant

Description: Beautiful vintage antique pendant and brooch; eight pointed brass star.Item can be used as a brooch or a pendant. Enamel center with skeleton key crest with blue and white stripes on one side with red on the other half. Information I have searched the internet for and history on this brooch pin/ pendant: A medal, issued by Spain to commemorate the Peace and Pact of Zanjon from 1878, which ended ten years of fighting between the Crown of Spain and Cubans fighting for their independence(for a few years at least). Condecoration. 8 Pointed Star. Breast Order. Non-ferrous. The medal measured approximately 3-1/4" in length. It weighs 56.8 grams. Some light age and handling wear. Light scratching on reverse. Overall, very clean with fine detail.
