This is the Law of 1379 AH ten Riyals banknote known to have been issued in 1983. The note which is written in Arabic on the front and English on the back, is black, brown, and purple on multicolor underprint. It depicts the portrait of King Fahd right of center on the front with the image of a fortress (al-Murabah Palace) to the left. The back which has the same color scheme as the front has the image of palm tree plantation and the Saudi arms in the right bottom corner. The front displays two signatures, the denomination, and the serial number, while the back shows only the denomination. This particular note has the serial number 168/255319 printed twice on the front once in black and once in red. The note has a water mark showing King Fahd's bust and has a security thread left of center. Please carefully review the scans provided as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: 1983.
