Description: This is a Hand Built One of a Kind Custom Made Solid Body Electric Guitar by my luthier friend Chris Watson. He built this back in the mid 70’s when we were both living in Hawaii and I was looking for something unique in the solid body guitar department. I wanted him to use curly koa for the body, but left the design to him. He came up with the body shape and maple neck thru with the koa wings like a Gibson Firebird. I chose a DiMarzio Humbucker with only a volume knob to keep things simple. A six string bridge (I forgot the make) and string thru body like a Tele completes the guitar. 24 frets and Fender like 25 1/2 “ scale. He put the strap button on the upper wing but I moved it to the center of the heel. Tuners are Schallers. Pot I believe is 500k CTS, but I’m not going to open it up to find out. The guitar is in excellent condition but it could use a good tune up and cleaning. It’s been in storage for many years. Comes with Hard Shell Black Fender type case which fits perfectly.
