Description: This is a late 80s Fisher Mt. Tam. It is fully fillet brazed. Experts have told me this is the work of Tom Teesdale, although I cannot independently confirm this. It does not have the TT bottom bracket marking that is often found on his bikes. This bike has been customized. It has seatstay cantilever brakes instead of chainstay rollercam brakes, and the housing run for the cantilever brakes is internally routed through the top tube. There is a third set of bottle cage bosses on the bottom of the down tube. The frame is 18" center to center with a 21" top tube. Brand new bottom bracket bearings. Original, good condition Shimano 600 headset. The rear spacing is for a 135mm hub. "J. Buell" is painted in small letters on the seat stay. This seems to be under the clear coat. Sold by Trued Wheel in conjunction with Vintage Velo Venice.
