Description: The Czechoslovak VZ-58 Knife Bayonet is a vintage, original product from Czech Republic. It was designed by a Brno weapons engineer Jiri Cermak. Production ran from 1958-1984. The blade is made of carbon steel and has a plain edge with a length of over 5 inches. The tang is short and the handle is made of beech particleboard secured with two rivets. The Ricasso is marked D0843. It is an ambidextrous knife bayonet that comes with a smooth leather sheath. Initially made for forging, but soldiers everywhere used as a hammer.
