Description: This (15-ton) Dake Compound Floor Standing Arbor Press has Dual Swing Tables, it is in Excellent Like New Condition aside from the surface rust that does not hinder it's function 1%!! A Lad could spend 1 day wire wheel and paint and it would look like new, which I may in time do myself, Dake discontinued the Model 5, I actually prefer it over the Rack and pinion pedestal adjustment model 4, and believe it is quicker to use and change over pedestal adjustment. I upgraded the Ram lock down, from a star like knob to the one you see pictured, The star did not apply much lock down pressure and actually hurt your hand trying to apply pressure, The lock down I installed apply's much more holding pressure, is much more user friendly and easy on your hand. Looks like it has a casting date on it of 5-7-93, I was told it came out of a School in NY, It is rather difficult to ship there are no mounting hole's in the base, I would have to build a oversize substantial skid out of 4x4's and literally chain it down as necessary, It could take a few hundred in materials and 5 hours labor, so I will be charging $675 for Skidding if you choosethat option, I would prefer you pick it up with your trailer and chain it down to the trailer, it works great no skid required, I actually drove to WV to pick it up. This is your chance to get this discontinued Press at a fraction of what one cost New!!! Again there is No Wear!!! on it aside from cosmetic. So I will tell you this, I will offer a $500 deduction for you to wire wheel, paint and make it look pretty again. $$$ You may ask why so much? we'll it's basically 1/2 of what a new one will cost and provides the exact same functionality! And this Dake Model 5 is not available any more, furthermore 15-ton Arbor Preses are quite hard to find used, so it will end up in a Substantial shop, saving the buyer $5,000 to $7,000, this Press is basically beyond the Hobby Workshop.
