Description: Dale Gallon "The Last Inspection" Civil War Print Artists Proof #7/50 Signed. This was produced in 1995 for the Dale Gallon Historical Art in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. It comes with the factory sealed wrapping on it. The print border is 31" by 22". The image size is 16" by 26". The factory seal does have a slit in the back where someone has taken the booklet out and then put it back. You can see this in the last picture. The booklet is also marked Artist Proof #7/50. The artist proof is more rare than some of the others. I have included how many of each kind were produced; NRA Edition - 2000, Public Edition - 950, Publishers Proof - 50, Artist Proof - 50, Executive Proof - 50, Producer Proof - 50. As you can see, the Artist Proof is indeed more desirable than the NRA or Public edition. The booklet in the back covers characteristics, technical specifications and production history of both US and foreign made weapons. This would make a nice addition to your civil war collection.
