The book came from Roberts' own private library. It is a hardcover with dustcover. Edited by his wife, Kathryn and Bernard Batto. Inscribed " To Mom With Love From Jim and Kathryn." The inscription was a bit rare as Roberts almost always signed " Jimmy ". Perhaps the inscription was made by Kathryn? The book contains many essays, largely from his former students, in honor of his retirement from active teaching. Roberts has a very lengthy education bio and was an author of many books. This 20 year old book is new except for the inscription inside the front cover.
