Description: I own an advertising specialty company - now in our 45th year I am happy to report - and worked in the industry for many years prior to establishing my own firm. Dixie produced many specialty items for us, especially auto tags. All made in the U.S.A. Here is a sample I purchased to show clients in the hope of selling them a custom auto tag. Details: The plate is an embossed (3D) aluminum auto tag, size 6" X 12". It has four pre-drilled holes - ready to mount or display. It is still in the original factory cello wrap, hence the glare in my photos. As mentioned, rather than just being flat screen printed, the tag is stamped embossed in 3D, giving it more depth and a more striking appearance. Made in the U.S.A. It is in NEW condition. Or course, never used or displayed. Rather, it has been kept in a sealed container in one of our climate controlled sample rooms. This nice car tag features the Davis - Monthan AFB Team DM design along with the motto - "A Tradition Of Excellence". It is in a multi-color design, and quite striking. Although I served in the military, including a tour in beautiful Southeast Asia...AKA Vietnam, I was unfamiliar with this installation. I read about it, and "DM" has quite the storied history.
