Description: For your consideration is a stunningly colorful antique Chinese vase featuring4 of the "Immortals", lizards, foo dogs, flowers, fruit, leaves, clouds, and sea.The Immortals are doing various things. One riding a donkey, playing a flute,paddling amongst the waters, and one is riding a carp. There is a huge amount of gold gilt on this piece including the four lizards and4 abstract foo dogs. It stands 14 1/4" high, measures 25 1/2" in circumference,and measures 6 1/4" across the base. The base has wear from age, has a bitof tape residue, and is distinctly signed in red. See photo. The rim is edgedin gold. There are no cracks or chips found. Light to no wear otherwise.I was told this was wrapped up in a closet for decades.
