As the end of the war approached it seems Yamashita hid his treasure in an old mine, the location of which has remained a mystery until now. On an isolated island in Indonesia, a present-day expedition is seeking - and is apparently close to finding - the legendary Yamashita's gold. But, out of the blue, they are attacked by some armed rebels and seek refuge in an abandoned Japanese bunker. Soon they discover that the place was a secret laboratory during World War II where the prisoners were guinea pigs in weird experiments.
