Description: FREE USA SHIPPING! Those in the know, are keenly aware why these early DiMarzio pickups are in high demand... they simply sound better! Sure, you can get a new set for about the same price (maybe less!) but it will not deliver the killer tone as these 1970's beauties. I originally bought these in 1979 and installed them in a mocha 1975 Fender Jazz Bass. I sold the bass in the 80's but kept this set for all those years. These are very early ones with the Patent Applied For sticker still intact on one of the coils (although the glue has dried out) which makes them even more desirable. The neck pickup reads 6.34K on my meter and the bridge pickup reads 6.81K so they are plenty strong. These have 4 leads so they can be wired out-of-phase or with a dual/single coil switch. I prefer to leave them alone for maximum tone! There is only a bit of wear on the covers, some minor oxidation of the pole pieces (all turn freely) and the wires are original length. No mounting screws but those are easy to find. The set includes an original 1970's Fender control plate with a harness that consists of (3) Allen-Bradley pots and jack so all you need to do is solder the pickup leads in place. FREE USA SHIPPING and a 30-day return privilege for any reason. The Bass Palace will be listing loads of parts throughout the fall! Come visit us at the Fall Philly guitar show in Oaks, PA this November 2nd & 3rd where we will have around 100 used & rare basses for sale.
