Untapered blocks will create vibrations to your driveline and cause premature wear on your truck. Be careful when using Aluminum blocks for the rear due to amount of load and pressure that occurs from towing. Truck manufacturers use steel because it will not warp or crack over high loads, if your truck came with steel blocks, why use anything else? Lift blocks will maintain your factory ride quality unlike add-a-leafs which will stiffen your suspension and give you a rough ride. The U bolts included are bent and threaded to exact specification so that you do not have to mod it in anyway in order to bolt it on.
