This was made by Doranne of California Pottery. This monkey measures 11½ inches tall, the bottom portion of the jar measures 7 inches wide and the top portion or lid measures 8½ inches wide across at the elbows. There is a maker’s mark on the front of the jar near the base on foot. I love this guy’s bellybutton – it reminds me of the Pillsbury Doughboy and I want to stick my finger in it! This monkey cookie jar is in excellent vintage condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs, scratches, discoloration or crazing noted. Buyer will pay shipping on a 6 pound box.
