There is of course greater variation due to the chuck’s scroll mechanism. In reality, the internal range is 11mm (7/16") to 29mm (1 1/8") and the external 31mm (1 1/4") to 48mm (1 7/8"). However, at more extreme diameters the jaws are no longer form a true circle. These jaws are suitable for the SK100 4" and SK114 4 1/2" chucks.
