Rebound in Modern ¾ Leather over Marble Boards, Gilt Title, New End-Papers. CONDITION: In VG+ condition, with a strong spine showing no cracking or splitting, strong hinges showing no separation or starting, no annotations, foxing or mold. Outer covers show some general rubbing and edge-wear: light rubbing to the corners and edges; contemporary gift inscription on the front fly-leaf (see Image 3); records suggest there is a missing plate between p256/257, but there are no signs of a removed page; paper repair to p. i (see Image 4); inner pages show some age tanning and occasional edge-wear.
