We have restored vintage German watches from DUGENA, which are rarely distributed in Japan (manufactured in the late 1960s to 1970s)! ★Fully overhauled before listing★ As shown in the photos, it has been disassembled, cleaned, and adjusted for chronograph function, and is currently operating steadily with a deviation of about 15 seconds per day. The NATO-style cowhide leather strap has been cleaned with leather detergent, treated, and is a thick single-piece leather strap with a wild look. DUGENA is an established manufacturer founded in 1917. Initially, they focused on the domestic market, and their recognition in Japan is lower compared to other German watch brands like JUNGHANS, NOMOS, Sinn. They have been loved in Japan for many years in a position similar to SEIKO as a standard watch brand. They have a deep connection with military watches and Bauhaus design. It is equipped with the Valjoux 7734 (DUGENA4003) movement. It inherits the design of the predecessor Venus Cal.188, and it is a movement adopted by many manufacturers. The 7734, particularly known for its strong relationship with Breitling, adds a calendar function to the 7733. The 5-beat low-beat movement produces a pleasant sound, and the large balance wheel provides high stability. The flyback mechanism works well. It features a constantly running small seconds at the left side and a 30-minute counter at the right side, with tachymeter markings on the outer edge of the dial, giving it a sporty rally chronograph style. The luminous hands have been repainted for visibility.
