Flash forward to today, and I finally obtained a proper standard sized DVD case in order to restore it back to its original appearance and polished it up with a JFJ Easy Pro cleaner in order to reduce the appearance of scratches on the DVD's surface; however, there may still be some faint traces of scratches/swirl marks still left on there if you look close enough.
