By the standards of the average silent film "Betty Takes a Hand" has acceptable quality and is perfectly watchable. The facial expressions can be seen clearly. There is no missing footage and the plot can be followed easily from beginning until end. The film has done better than 70% that are lost forever. We believe that this rare gem will be a real treat for all Olive Thomas fans.
