Dynaco ST-70 Stereo Tube Amplifier Restored Rebuilt Ready To Go!

Description: Dynaco ST-70 tube amplifier with upgrades! Ready to go plug and play sounds great! New CE can cap 30-20-20-20 polished like chrome. New choke New gold plated input jacks with wider spacing to accomodate larger modern plugs. Original A470 output transformers and original PA060 power transformer installed. Its the later taller stacked Dynaco transformer. Painted hammered gray and installed with all new stainless steel hardware with extra bolts on the bells. Driver board is brand new with all new parts and modified to accept 6GHA driver tubes. New hand selected and measured resistors and capacitors. All new Belton tube sockets. Orange leds added under driver tubes! Looks cool and acts like a power indicator. I also installed 2 leds under the driver board. I can remove them by request if not desired. Chassis is original and minor pitting is visible with some patina. Chrome still has shine to it. I tried to show it in the pictures. New power switch. New mono/stereo switch New 5 way speaker binding posts New input jacks spaced for modern cables. Diodes installed at rectifier to protect from damage. 10 ohm bias resistors installed. I installed bias balance pots on this amp. Now you can balance each tube independently! They are located in the center of the front octal sockets. Thermistor installed to limit startup current. Electro Harmonix EL34 power tubes are installed with Sylvania 6GH8A driver tubes. All test good. And sound great! Mesa 5AR4 rectifier tube tests excellent. DEAD quiet. NO hum. NO sizzle. NO hiss. It includes the bottom cover with new rubber feet and a cage. If you would like to see pictures of the bottom cover and the cage, please let me know. I can send them to you.
