Description: Here is the famous "Moon and Star" pattern that is again becoming popular for use with baked goods, candles and decor. Originally produced and named "Palace" in the 1880's by Adams (Pittsburgh), the pattern was also made by US Glass, LG Wright and several other glass makers throughout the 1900s. Today, the pattern is produced by Weishar. This cake stand is approx. 10" wide (a bit more at the skirt area), 7 1/4" tall and has a base diameter of 5". This example has a small chip from one skirt point (see final image), a shallow flake from another (next to last image), and a few rough spots around the skirt. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE As with EAPG, Depression Era, and other vintage glass, there may be slight 'character' marks, shear marks, bubbles, ripples and mold marks on bottoms or sides from the original mold and/or production process.
