Description: Offered for your consideration is a clear glass open compote made by the Bryce Brothers Glass Company (1882-1891) in their "Amazon" pattern. Also known as "Sawtooth" or "Sawtooth Band", this pattern was introduced in 1890. The compote measures 5.75 inches (14.6 cm) in diameter and 5.25 inches (13.3 cm) tall. This open compote is in very fine used condition with no cracks, chips, nor repairs. There is a small chip on bottom of base, minor roughness in spots on some raised points, and few faint surface scratches. See photos. Small compote is used so there may be additional indications of use. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other minor imperfections due to the manufacturing process used at the time.
