Description: Offered for your consideration is lovely clear glass water pitcher made by the McKee and Brothers Glass Company (1835-1899) in their "Hobnail" pattern. Also known as "Cane", this pattern was introduced circa 1886. The pitcher measures over 8.5 inches (21.6 cm) tall, 5.5 inches (14 cm) in diameter, and is 8.25 inches (21 cm) long from end of spout to outer edge of handle. This water pitcher is in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, roughness, nor repairs. Pitcher is used so there may be very faint surface scratches, minor wear, or other signs of use. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There is a small dark spot in side of pitcher which may be an inclusion. See photos. There may also be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other minor imperfections due to the manufacturing process used at the time. Water pitcher will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
