It is made of a single of feeathers and natural fibers. It is beautifully and professhionally framed with linen backing and a thick acrylic frame. It is part of two feather headdresses that I purchased from the estate of Nancy Silbary, who had a very important Oceanic/Polynesian collection. I sold several other items from this collection at Bonham's. I have included a photo at the end that shows both feather headdresses, the other is listed separately, and is not part of this listing. Provenance: Nancy Sibray Collection in Somis, California, which adds to its authenticity and historical significance. She had a huge museum quality Oceanic collection, most of which have sold at major auction houses and to various museums. Condition: Excellent Condition, wonderful color.
