Contains 16 of each kind of card. We're 99% sure that's the number they came with originally...if we're wrong, someone chime in and we'll correct the listing. But we're honestly pretty sure that's the number it should be. These early cards were not crisply machine cut the way modern cards are; as a result they have a fairly "rough" or "live" edge to them. Nothing terrible...just different...and it's probably hard to make that out in the photos, so we want to make sure to point it out. Also, they're on lighter weight card stock than what's used today...making them more prone to dents and dings, creases and dogears and such. These cards definitely DO have SOME wear to them...but they're mostly in GOOD shape and there wasn't anything terrible. Just be aware that they won't take the abuse *some* 6 year olds (and some 26 or 36 year olds) can dish out. :-) NOTE: We are not a retail store...nor are we experts in vintage game pieces.
