Description: 19th Century Pearlware Abraham offering Isaac This beautifully modeled group dates to the early 19th century. Beautifully painted in a vibrant color scheme. Based on documented examples, Abraham should have a knife in his right hand, since he does not, I'm assuming the hand is a restoration although never would have realized it otherwise. The bocage is restored and missing in spots. Approx. 10 1/2"H X 7" W. A similar piece is documented in the Schkolne Staffordshire Book Volume 2, p. 158 Condition: Assumed restoration to hand, face assumed newer paint, restoration to bocage and much bocage missing or restored, minor hairline to side. I will be listing a large Collection of Staffordshire, so please continue watching my auctions. Terms of Sale Please review photos closely. I try and represent items as accurately as possible.
