(fancy monogram) SAN FRANCISCO (JOSEPH ROTH AND COMPANY)" once issued in the historic city of SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIAThis comes out of a collection of antique western whiskey bottles and soda bottles....I am not an expert on these...I looked online and found listings saying this bottle up in the triple digits range...The "Roth & Co" (Joseph Roth) was founded way back in 1859 in SF, but to be conservative would say this bottle is from the 1890-1910 era I thinkTHIS CAME OUT OF COLLECTION WHERE ORIGINAL OWNER TRIED TO FIND NICEST...CLEANEST EXAMPLE HE COULD FIND...AND CONTINUALLY UPGRADED CONDITION WISE....SO I WILL SAY THIS ONE DISPLAYS SUPER NICELY...THIS BOTTLE IS BEAUTIFUL AND A GREAT COLOR...IT SEEMS REALLY CLEAN...AND A NICE UNCLEANED SPECIMEN....HOPING YOU CAN TELL HOW NICE THIS ONE IS FROM MY AVERAGE PICTURE TAKING ABILITY :)...THIS IS A GREAT CLEAN BOTTLE, HAS BEEN SITTING ON A SHELF FOR MANY YEARS...I LITERALLY JUST WIPED THE DUST OFF IT I have inspected this bottle, seems really nice..glass is very nice, embossing is crisp, (see gallery)...Can find no real damage... it is a real beauty....displays very well.....it is sort of a reddish amber color glass, and stands 11 3/4" tall...the lip seems super nice (see gallery)Gallery pictures should show you all you need to know, took pictures from many angles.
