I feel as though a light has gone on and my mind has been opened up to so many things that I've never even thought about. There's so much we don't know for certain but I find peace in the scripture D&C 101:32-33: "In that day when the Lord shall come, he shall reveal all things--Things which have passed, and hidden things which no man knew, things of the earth, by which it was made." I now look at the earth and the whole plan of salvation with greater understanding and a greater appreciation. It's all just a marvelous and beautiful plan, simple yet intricate, almost too much for my little brain to wrap around. This book gives you a lot to ponder on and pray about, and I love how Dr. Skousen uses numberless scriptures and quotes from prophets such as Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and Heber C. Kimball. Science and religion seems to be a touchy thing for so many people in our LDS community but I think that with an open mind, a strong testimony, and lots of prayer and meditation this book will most definitely strengthen your testimony even more and enlighten you to no end. It has made me feel closer to our Father in Heaven and has made me anxious to go to the temple once again and ponder. I will be listening with new ears. It ties science and religion without discrediting either one. It was one of those books that expanded my mind, and made me look at the earth sciences in a different light.This book enhanced my belief in God.
