Description: Drop and go Aquarium Kit for Beginners with Small tanks. Includes colorful plants and snails, botanicals and Root tabs Condition is New. Shipped free with USPS First Class Package. Hello everyone! I've put together a simple package of plants, snails, botanicals (for protective tannins and interest), and fertilizer root tabs for those with small tanks. This would be an excellent package for someone wanting to build up multiple layers of flora and fauna in their new tank quickly. None of this stuff is high maintenance. You could just dump it all in a cycled tank and walk away for weeks. Just not the root tabs; that's too much fertilizer. :) For the plants: This Combo pack includes a small plant sampler package for people who might want a little variety in their tanks, but don't want to lay down too much $$$.... These are very small portions, but you'll get at least ten individual plants, and I do my best to give you as much textural/ color variety as possible. You'll get stem types, floaters, and mosses. All easily rooted, forgiving, and grow joyfully! These are random trims I harvest right before shipping, so I can do my best to pull requested plants, but can't guarantee it. :) This is a great way to get lots of variety if you're the patient, experimental type. I've included a photo above of a sample order. These are the amounts you can expect to receive. It's the trim pack I wish someone had offered when I was starting out with planted tanks-- that way I can see what works and what doesn't in my tank! All grown submerged (except floaters obviously) with minimal fertilizer and average light/ room temperatures - unlike a lot of cheap plants out there - which are grown only partially submerged. I've posted pictures above of some of my actual tanks that I trim from. This is what a low maintenance, no heat, no- C02 tank can look like after your new plants establish. These are happy community tanks with colorful guppies, snails, shrimp, and of course, lots of plants! I do have a few filterless Walstad tanks as well, so you know these are hardy, easy-care plants that grow fast and under a wide variety of conditions. I do have snails in tanks. If you'd absolutely rather not have snail hitchhikers, definitely look up how to do a bleach dip. Some random trims you may get these days: True Sagittaria, Frogbit, Java moss, Riccia, Rotala H'ra, Rotala Rotundifolia, Najas Guppy Grass, Anacharis, H. Tripartita 'Japan', Purple, red, or green Cabomba, N. Hydro. Taiwan, Narrow Leaved Anacharis, Weeping moss, Salvinia Minima, Bacopa Caroliniana, Water Wisteria, Hornwort, Ambulia, Red Rooted Floaters, Pennywort, Windelov and Trident Java Fern, Red Myrio,Water Sprite Water Lettuce, Salvinia Natans, Java Fern, Crypt Wenditii, Pearlweed, Green Myrio and more.... For the Snails: I include a mix of colorful ramshorn snails for cute color and cleanup in your new tank. You will receive at least ten JUVENILES in various shades of pink, red, blue, brown, or salmon. I want to add this again: This listing is for the JUVENILE OFFSPRING, from the adults pictured. The ones you receive will be small, and not fully grown. These are chill dudes who do not eat plants, nor will they bother shrimp or other tankmates. They mostly chug around eating detritus and algae, and will scrub your plants of dead matter and other algae growing on the surface. Botanical packs and Root Fertilizer tablets: I am including a pack of mixed botanical items, including Pin Oak leaves, acorns and caps, Sweet Gum Pods, and Root tabs. You will receive at least ten of each item. These are grown and harvested in an organic manner. I have included a photo above of a sample size pack. May include a bonus Cholla piece or Maple Bark strip. These botanical items are excellent for tannin release, and they are antifungal, help grow bio-film, and act as both food and shelter for fry or shrimplets as they break down. A must have to encourage a healthy micro-biome! Depending on how large your tank is, I'd suggest placing one botanical item per ten gallons. You can see how the water will start to tea-stain, and that's excellent! That's the protective tannins being released. Keep adding one here and there as the color dissipates and the item breaks down over time. I add one to each of my ten gallon tanks every 4-5 months. These root fertilizer tabs are great for your deeper root feeder plants. Bury one tab per gallon, two inches below the substrate. These are slow release size 0 tabs, hand-packed OsmocotePlus in dissolving gel caps. They are slow release, so you only really need one per plant every 4-6 months. These are shrimp/ fish safe. If your loaches or catfish accidentally dig them up, no worries! Just carefully bury them back down a little deeper. These are all snipped/ harvested and packed right before shipment, from my personal tanks and stash. These are homebred here in the US (Kansas) and are not farmed nor imported.I take a lot of pride in this hobby.I'm very careful, and I use methods that have consistently gotten the best results over years. Lot of love going into this hobby. Please don't leave them to roast or freeze in a mailbox🙏 Due to the dilation on USPS shipping estimates this year, we will begin shipping ONCE A WEEK on Mondays. This is re: your feedback, and gives your live orders the best chance of making it to you safely before the weekend.Much love, and be safe,Cassandra Thank you for looking, aqua friends!
