Description: John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band with the soundtrack from the movie 'Eddie and The Cruisers'. Finally achieving international success after being spurned my the major labels for the constant comparisons to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. This example is an original issue from 1983 on the Scotti Brothers label. The cover has a couple of handling creases and a sticker stain in the lower left corner of the back, but still would hold a VG++ grade. Vinyl is very nice and graded a MINT-. NOTICE: I will always combine shipping whenever possible. All vinyl as well as CD's will be shipped in boxes designed specifically for records. All vinyl discs will be removed from their jackets for shipping. Sealed items will ONLY be removed per buyer's request. Any Still Sealed examples are being sold as collectors items. If you purchase a Still Sealed item and decide to open it, you own it. NO ADJUSTMENTS OR RETURNS will be considered or accepted. I cannot be held accountable for something I am unable to inspect or grade. All items listed as Still Sealed are original factory sealed, I DO NOT reseal anything. I will only accept returns on Still Sealed product. If you do not agree to this policy, PLEASE DO NOT BID OR BIN. Please Note: Although the majority of my LP's were bought new, many were purchased 'pre-owned'. I was extremely picky about condition. All albums are stored in 3mil. poly sleeves, with most having a rice paper inner sleeve (retaining the original custom inner sleeve). I try to grade the items for sale as if I were buying them myself. Record grading is totally subjective. I do not consider NM and M- the same grade. Please see the grading scale below. Grading is cover/disc. If an item is between grades, I will usually go down a grade, not up and note it. Pictures are part of the description. Reflective glare may be present in pics. If you have ANY issues with the condition, please contact me before filing a 'not as described' case with eBay. I will deal with you in a respectful and professional manner. If we are unable to reach a mutually acceptable conclusion I will refund your purchase price as well as the return shipping cost*. Items must be returned in the same condition you receive it in. Discs will be removed from the jacket prior to shipping. Sealed records will only be removed at buyer's request. Satisfaction is guaranteed. Thank you, BL @ SR *Return shipping will be refunded on the cost of MEDIA MAIL only! Any extras you may choose to add will not be reimbursed. IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ Grading is totally arbitrary, no matter what anyone says. I will assign a grade to the item listed and attempt to point out any detractions. Grading of items is cover/disc. The pictured item is the one you'll be receiving, I do not use stock photos. All items are from my personal collection and are original issues. I do not sell fakes or pirated copies. I do on occasion list a 'bootleg' or non-authorized title. Please read thru the entire description before bidding. If you still have any questions or require clarification on anything, again, please contact me thru the eBay messaging system before bidding. I will not remove any listing and sell privately. Thank you for viewing my listings. GRADING: (M) Mint: Mint is a grade reserved for sealed discs and sometimes (very rarely) open items. There are no scratches, scuffs, hairlines, fingerprints, spindle marks or any other indication that it has been handled or played. For covers, artwork or booklets. The cover will have it's original shrink wrap which may be opened. With LP's there are no corner bumps, scratches, mars, creases or other signs of wear. CD's will have an as new jewel case or digipak. My opinion is there really no "Mint" records. Even those sealed from the factory commonly have some detraction. I assume a sealed record or CD to be mint. However, I cannot be held responsible for what's inside. (NM) Near Mint: Near Mint is a record or disc that is virtually flawless. Clean and glossy, a near perfect rarely-played example. Vinyl may play with very light or occasional dust or static related noise that is only heard in the quietest passages. The vinyl record and label as well as the CD show no obvious signs of wear. It appears clean with factory gloss. There may be a barely visible paper scuff or two, possibly a hairline mark, but no scratches. An LP jacket or CD booklet or artwork would have no obvious signs or wear but one or two handling creases are acceptable. No ringwear, no sawcuts or discount marks. May have a minimal corner bump. Artist signatures are the only acceptable form of handwriting for this grade. "Near Mint" will look as if you just got it home from the record store. (M-) Mint Minus and (NM-) Near Mint Minus: To make a distinction here is really splitting hairs. These CD's or vinyl records may have light scuffs or hairline mark that will have no effect on sonic quality. Light spindle marks may be present, still looks clean and unplayed. The discs will retain their factory gloss and luster. Covers or artwork will not have ringwear, seam splits, torn or folded pages. No 'cut out' marks, drill holes, writing or stickers. Most show evidence of light use but nothing that would constitute a distraction. This grade will present as near new having been properly handled and cared for. Any detraction will be noted. (VG++) Very Good Plus Plus: Shows signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner that took good care of it. Record or compact disc surfaces may have light scuffs and scratches that only reveal themselves in the quietest of passages and don't distract from the overall sonic quality. Most factory gloss is still present, slight edge warps that do not effect the tracking or sound quality are OK and will be noted. An LP jacket or CD artwork may have some light ringwear, corner bumps, shelf wear, artwork or booklet tears or folds, even a small seam split. Also acceptable for this grade are sawcuts, punch holes, light unobtrusive writing or DJ marks. If not for a couple of of minor things wrong with it, this would be a showcase piece. All but the most discriminating collectors will find a VG++ condition piece highly acceptable. (VG+) Very Good Plus: From here on, we'll mainly be dealing with vinyl only. Many of the defects found in a VG++ record are more pronounced in a VG+ record. Surface noise is evident upon playing, but does not overwhelm the music. Groove wear will start to be audible and a random click, tic or soft pop will be evident but will not detract from the enjoyment of the recorded material. The cover may exhibit one or more of the following flaws; seam split, ringwear, labels may be marred by writing, tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. A small light stain or some discoloring may be evident. Both disc and cover may exhibit a combination of the above mentioned detractions but not totally overwhelm the piece. (VG) Very Good: In the world of records, very good is not really very good. A VG cover/disc will possess more of the flaws mentioned in VG+, but it's still a keeper, especially for those rarer pieces. Surface noise is evident upon playing, groove wear will be audible, along with plenty of pops and clicks. However it will not totally overpower the music. The cover will certainly have more of the above mentioned flaws and to a higher degree but still not overwhelm the piece. (G) Good: Means not completely trashed, only acceptable until a better one comes along. Any record in this category (or lesser condition) will most likely look and sound bad. Only for a title you just have to have because a better one may never come along . SPECIAL NOTE: I am human and I grade conservatively. However, on occasion I may miss something. There are always exceptions to the rules. If you ever have ANY issue with a piece I sell you, PLEASE contact me first. I will make it right. PLEASE DO NOT initiate a return request or an item 'not as described' dispute thru eBay until you give me a chance to rectify the issue. Please do not leave negative or neutral feedback until you communicate with me. I will always deal with you in a professional and respectful manner. Thank you
